Every Bicycle has an intended purpose. Discovering what it is you intend to do and where you're taking your ride is part of the design of every bicycle. Longer rides, camping, racing, short commutes? Touring, Randonneuring, commuting. Below you'll find examples of everything possible.

The Randonneur

Designed to handle the elements of the road and KEEP the rider comfortable.

A well designed rando bicycle will ride well with a load on the handlebars for the handlebar bag, right where the rider needs it for easy access. Designed with fenders, integrated lighting, racks for bags, and geometry to suit longer rides. Has lighting for the front and rear for night riding. Whether doing the Paris-Brest-Paris or “credit card touring” these machines are made to travel, and perform. Tubing choices are made with flexibility and comfort in mind. Columbus, Deda, Kaisei, or even NOS Reynolds 531 can be used (Depending on availability). Racks, stems, and decalures are made specifically for each bicycle to ensure exact fit between bicycle and components.

The City Bike

City bikes are designed for commuting or riding around the town.

With simplicity in mind, a wide variety of options can be incorporated into the bike. Fenders for the occasional rainstorm, lights for getting home late, a rack for carting the groceries are all possibilities. Some other options include having only a rear derailleur for the occasional hill, custom stem, custom racks, and handcrafted lugs.

The Mixte Bike

Mixtie frames are stylish and unique, mostly designed for city riding in an upright riding position, often designed for 650b wheels for wider tires, these lend themselves to a more comfortable ride.

Because the mixtie lugs are no longer made, I make the joints from the half lug style, opening up the geometry to anything we want. This also gives the bike a look that’s ——— Super classy! The rear end of the mixte has a triple stay treatment that has a bridge on the middle set of stays that touch the seat tube as well as the stays, tiying them all in together for strength.

The Road Bike

Sport riding and road racing.

Straight forward, simple machines designed for fast road riding, club riding, racing or sprinting around town, these bikes are made to handle well going fast. Tubing options are made with light weight kept in mind. Most lug options are open to the customer.
