Front SL hub drop outs $100 pr. Stainless Steel

This SL dropout has a wire relief channel machined so that the tab and wire can float, avoiding an accidental short curcut while still being close to the drop out. The goal with this redesign was svelte, classic in appearance, with the added benefit of being able to use your current fork jig without the hot shoe offsetting the fork blades. No shims or special fixture needed for your fork jig!  The classic design is thin enough to allow alignment, but thick enough to provide a strong drop out. One of the major improvements to this design was that both dropouts end up the same thickness when the hot shoe is pressed in, and the plastic insulator holes are drilled straight through, allowing for a thinner dropout. Both drop outs are the same width once assembled. They are stainless steel to avoid corrosion and further grounding issues. These must be silver brazed in or welded. They are machined here in the US by Lichen Precision, using the highest standards in the bicycle industry. These have been available since 2021 for framebuilders. Please order through Metal Guru

Custom drop outs $100 a pair.

These drop outs were manufactured by Paragon Machine Works, a leading bicycle component manufacturing company in the bicycle industry. We designed them to make clearances for more cogs on the cassette, and sturdy enough to last. Its our take on the age old design with two windows. Available here for frame builders for $100 a pair, plus shipping. Please order through Metal Guru
